🧶 Debuting at Flock Fiber Festival this weekend… Turn Up the Gain is a fluffy fuzzy brioche scarf that goes to 11 😉
sometimes my phone screen is too dim so i'll take a minute to hold him up to a lamp to inspire him. when i turn him back around his screen is once more bright and cheerful. who else can we hold to the light in this way. who else needs to remember how good they can be
Watercolor WIP detail. I keep returning to this sky and these towering rocks.
Baby’s first powerlifting max out today. Surprised myself pulling 225! I will now be napping forever 😂
we’re so desperate for good news we've accepted the scaffolding as our wire mother
Well, if nothing else, we’re all learning how people work on scaffolding
The knowledge that I can lift more than Drake and Pete Hegseth as a woman in my 40s is tremendously satisfying.
Randomly deadlifted way more than I was expecting to today! It’s getting exciting
Managed to sneak the word “avuncular” into normal conversation.

Me, when someone tries to get me to use AI:
Dracula (1931): Bela Lugosi & Edward Van Sloan Scene
Alt: Dracula (1931, b&w): Bela Lugosi & Edward Van Sloan Scene. An elderly man opens a wood box to show Dracula something, and Dracula immediately smacks the box with both hands and steps back with wide eyes at the insolence.

I’ve been tricked! Too many spice jars on the table meant I accidentally put black&red pepper onto my oatmeal instead of cinnamon sugar 😖🥵
Here’s another shot of what’s on the little tapestry loom, since you liked the first one so much! 🧶 #weaving
Tiny knitting joy: not counting while casting on a ton of stitches, then counting and coming up within 2 of the number I needed. 🧶
My Sea Fan Scarf pattern has gotten a tiny refresh and is now available in all the places! While this isn't a learn-to-knit-brioche project, it's less complicated than it looks, with only one pattern row. A picot cast-on and bind-off give the scalloped ends a little extra flair. 🧶 #briocheknitting
As usual for a Monday, I wanna eat cookies and lay on the floor
Brought this fine fellow to the Fine Arts competition and show at the Maryland Sheep & Wool festival this weekend! I loved getting in all those details on the ram’s face. #watercolor
Yesterday’s airplane crochet. 🧶 Stitching and audiobooks make the time go faster.
🌟 introducing Starfield Scarf! 🌟 The Starfield Scarf is a long, skinny triangle crocheted in a totally reversible textured pattern reminiscent of starburst shapes. It’s quick and easy to crochet and adaptable for different sizes or weights of yarn.

Strongest dude in the gym gave me deadlifting advice today. Don’t pick the bar up, push the earth down. I like that.
I rent half of a modest duplex. Just discovered the new neighbors (also renting) have parked a shiny Ferrari in their garage.
