A. M. Vincent

@vincent.northsky.social

Associate Professor, History of Religion. Migrant. Bad at gender, worse at writing bios. I do stuff involving religion and literature and genocide, usually all at once. Posts mostly in English, ibland på svenska, ובעברית רק כדי לספר בדיחות

It's also job market season and I can set aside time to do application reviews for two people. You don't need to be in religious studies; some of the best feedback I got as an ECR was from colleagues in other disciplines entirely. Again, my inbox is open!

As it's syllabus time for much of the world, let me remind you that if you've been sent to teach Into Judaism and are struggling, my inbox is open.

I am now authorised to reveal that I can be found on the following panel at Worldcon. (Only the one, I'm actually at another conference that weekend, but this one is gonna be a blast!)

Find me at WorldCon on the "Gods did WHAT?! Creation Stories from Around the World" virtual panel, 12:00PM PDT, Friday 28 August..

I have not really figured out how to unpack my thoughts about this, but I keep thinking that there are more people who have very intense feelings about the meaning of Jerusalem than there are people who know that it has a lot of malls.
