I don’t think I’ve ever fuckin seen any company actually produce MORE or ORIGINAL content after a merger ever. What they’re really saying is “you’ll get nothing and like it!”
Had a small indie freelance gig recently and found out after I turned in my work that the next phase was partnering with a studio that was using AI. My bosses didn’t understand how it works, so I educated them on the harms it can have. They were shocked and are now telling the studio not to use AI.
“The Last Wish” also had a rough start at $8.9mill globally and $18.5mill domestic and eventually by the end of the run it made $484mill globally and $186mill domestic. (Cost 90-110mill to make). Give it a bit of time and keep getting people to go!!! 🙏🏼

When casting for Bass, I went through soooo many candidates, because Bass was suppose to sound so specific, but when I met Jon Luke Thomas, everything just clicked together and I had found my Bass! #SpiritLink #pilot
This was the very first cartoon I ever booked!!! It was sweet, and funny, and the animation kicked ass. I’m heartbroken we’ll never get to share it, but I’m just grateful I got to be part of the project. ♥️💪🏼

Wanted to make could get the okay to say anything, but I actually worked on this short as a background painter. SL was my one and only job in animation (I've been unlucky since 😭). It's a shame that this never released cuz it's one of the proudest projects I ever worked on. Maybe someday...

Man, that meka redesign is not it fam. Lost its theme and it’s clearly designed in a way to showcase the character to sell skins and not the mech… it’s like half the mech is gone???
Man, I drew a ton of new art last two weeks for the release and now that it's not it just sits in my folder. I was really happy with a lot of them. It feels like I just waisted a lot of my free time for nothing lol.
As far as I know right now, there is no plan for my short to be released. Hopefully that will change in the future.
I saw an old tweet I made about how there aren't enough animation timers in the industry, back in like 2019. It was a nice thread and people learning more about the craft. Cut to 2026 and there are no jobs period lol.
