@oceanh2.bsky.social and I did a chaos draft in MtG last night with friends and it was A BLAST. With sets ranging from Ravnica to Theros to Bloomburrow to Amonket, we had some eclectic decks. I ended up with a Grixis spell-slinging deck thanks to a ridiculous pull. Here’s some deck highlights:

This is INCREDIBLY impactful for small, local LGBTQ+ organizations (among many others SfaC supports.) I’m so proud to have been part of this and to become further involved with SfaC in the future.

In search of: MtG commander players who like to play bracket 1. I love building fun, silly, themed decks that barely function and playing them but it always results in me having a terrible time playing against decks that go infinite before I can even play any of my silly fun cards.

For anyone who needs to hear this: the Supreme Court decision today was not about sports. It was yet another decision reaffirming that discrimination against trans people is constitutional. In nearly 1/3 of states, I’m not allowed to use a public bathroom AT ALL and this decision supports that.

In these final days of pride month, tell a trans person you think they’re hot (or talented, or intelligent, etc.) We are constantly being told we don’t deserve to exist in this world and it’s easy to internalize that, despite our best efforts.
