Pausing to work on papers is really not a good idea. All files have different naming schemes, the Rproj inflated itself and takes 200GB of my harddrive and I have to rephrase all my sentences to not sound like fresh-PhD me.

I thought with the rise of generative AI less social science students would be interested to actually learn programming but it feels like the complete opposite. It does give me some hope.

The "I am your supervisor and need your assistance" scammers always give me a little jump scare before I see their silly Gmail email address.

I should remember to only run models in winter so I can get better use out of this space heater.
