Definitely haven’t been using this app enough! The perfect Sunday morning - what isn’t captured is the actual chaos of mum life 😂 Also this book is fabulous, can’t put it down #booksky - it’s always a good sign if a book is coming everywhere with me so I can squeeze in a few pages

4/5 stars⭐️ What a lovely read! This is the second Emily Henry book that I have read and it did not disappoint. A really sweet, low cortisol read which I thoroughly enjoyed. The perfect Rom-Com to get lost in for a few hours #booksky

So proud of myself - this is the longest book I have ever read (it’s 1,500 pages) And I loved it!! 4/5 stars, an engaging and very readable book! Lost a star as there were chapters that felt quite ramble and unnecessary and ALL the drama happened in the last 300 pages?! #booksky

Book 6 of 2025 ☑️ Finished this lovely little summer read today 4/5 ⭐️ Such a sweet storyline of love and friendship, loved how it jumped from the past to the present with such ease Would 100% recommend if you like a book you can just switch off from the world with #booksky

It’s not secret that I am normally on the go 24/7 but life has been much slower than I’m used to lately☀️ Trying to romanticise the small things in life like coffees, sunny walks and reading books that bring me joy✨

Spotted this whilst having a roam around the library - such a great initiative to help to combat period poverty in the UK, but sad that it is needed. We need to ensure everyone who menstruates has access to the products they need, and facilitate their choice of method

On the topic of books, I have definitely experienced a dismissal of romance books (in bookshops & bookclubs) as “easyreads” or not important, despite some of our classics being rom "Do we see broadsheets reviewing romance books? No. And they are just as important literary books” Thoughts #booksky?

Finished this lovely read during the week 4.5/5 stars ⭐️ I’m obsessed with Beth O’Leary books, and this one did not disappoint! Have to say though, “The no show” is still my favourite- still am yet to get over that one 😍😭 #booksky

My #booksky for 2025 has been terrible (and I could list 100 excuses but I’m not going to) Book 3/25 ✅ I really loved this book, would rate it 4.5/5 stars - it’s so beautifully written with a captivating story line, can definitely see why it won the women’s prize!

Oh #booksky, how I have neglected posting - I have just finished this incredibly insightful book on the transition into motherhood and I would highly recommend it! Hopefully my next book will not take me as long to read! Has anyone else read this?

Doing some Sunday admin whilst listening to this inspiring episode of BFBS Creative’s Culture Colonel podcast! Toni, a RN officer, talks about reframing being a “yes” or “no” person to being a “why” person which I loved, & reminded me of the quote “Your network is your net worth”

Happy new year from me and the crochet vulva!! ✨ Here’s to another year of spreading education on women’s health! Always happy to help where I can ❤️ (And hopefully acquiring a few more crocheted anatomical parts!)
