Here the prisoners wrote their memoirs. Although they were in prison, no one could concentrate on doing anything inside. The prisoners had beautiful hobbies, such as drawing. Look how beautiful and accurate their drawings were! 🥺

For over 14 years (and some of these things long before), #Syrians were barrel bombed, tortured, displaced, drowning at sea, starving to death. They have lived through horrors that none of us could put into words properly. There is absolutely fear over what next. But this is a moment of release.
