So Socially changed my name, and my new position requires me to call staff with my phone. I have my phone with my new name- Others with an iPhone will see my name when my number shows up. Mind you, I’m not out to anyone at my job. Person on the other end was chill about it when she asked abt it phew

Decided to get my hair cut at a shop just to try it out, see if it was worth it and to try it out after cutting my own hair for so long. Safe to say, if you want something done right, do it yourself. I’m disappointed :/ Place looked nice too

Most recent art piece is a slightly experimental self portrait- my girlfriend said something that inspired me to make this for her. Learned from it surprisingly. The most time consuming bit were the decorations lol - #art #alien

Been absent due to interesting life events recently- all positive! Was given a very interesting opportunity at my job that will definitely open doors for me! Hopefully I can step into this temporary role full time in the future! And I’ve finally started to take steps towards starting HRT! Wooo!

Trying to get back into the swing of posting something once and a while Starting with old art first Art fight piece I did in 2024 of my best friends MLP sona and my MLP sona hanging out I think my favorite detail is the pride flag colors in the post it strips

Woke up to Callisto out of her tunnel! I was so happy to see her especially after her molt. She looked pretty small still, and I told her I was excited to see her grow. And then I found out Callisto is actually a male I so much less time with him!! I’m so sad Oh well! Thats ok, we’ll make it count

Fuck me this is bleak. But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.

‘Children's book illustrator isn't a job anymore.’ I've been out of work for a while now. I made children's book illustrations, stock art, and took various art commissions. Now I have several maxed out credit cards and use a donation bin for food. I haven't had a steady contract in over a year. two weeks ago, when a client who has switched to AI found out about this he gave me $50 out of "a sense of guilt." Basically pity for the fact that Illustrator, as a job, does not exist anymore. It was my birthday recently and I sincerely considered not living anymore. The worst part of all is that the parents who once supported me fully in being an artist sent me an AI generated picture of a caricature of themselves holding a birthday cake with my name spelled incorrectly.
