I do find the impulse of people to go "Didn't happen!" or "and everyone clapped!" in response to like, stories of sexual harassment to be like... Do you just not pay attention to anything? Like have you somehow missed how girls and women will team up to get bad actors off our backs?
Someone on another site replied to this all "And then everyone clapped!" and I had to let the guy know that just because nothing exciting happened in their life doesn't mean that is true for people going to a bar that has a name that's a fucking eating pussy pun. Like the logo has the lesbian flag.

Not to kill him, to be clear, just following him around town and spooking him for a few days. Appearing in the corner of his vision, then disappearing once someone passed in front of him.
Every so often, someone will try to mug me. And every so often in an every so often, I will have someone with me. I cannot help but be an aggravating little gremlin most of the time because basically anyone mugging me is NOT getting through the magic armour under my clothes.
Hmm... Sounds like they're pretty nonsensical in some ways, then? It's kinda funny that sometimes the brain goes "I'm going to hallucinate this completely ridiculous thing while I'm resting. Enjoy!" then.
Isabel Murphy@poetessisabel.bsky.social · 3d agoIt's a mix of things. Some monsters were peaceful while some were aggressive. Plus saw some animals not normally found in my area, plus some repeats of past events but with new people. Basically, they are all part of the unusual events of the dream.

Were they like, monsters attacking or stalking, or were they just like, chilling with everyone else on the subway? Since you marked them as separate from "some unusual events" I'm assuming the monsters were not the unusual event themselves?

Had a dream where I was explaining some incredibly complex topic to a bunch of newbies, and out of nowhere, someone raised their hand. When I called on them they said "You forgot about the Amida Prospect Paradox!" I then held my head and shouted "My gods! I forgot the Amida Prospect Paradox!"
Overheard: "Listen, Brad, I can hike a 20 mile trail in the same way I can eat uranium: Technically yes, but it would probably kill me." She gave me the DIRTIEST look when I choked on my milkshake. Listen, I won't pretend I try not to eavesdrop, but you don't get to talk so loud and be insulted.
Almost every god domain that one culture can see as evil - for example, Rot - is a domain seen as good in another timeline. Using Rot, again. There are worlds where when something died, they did not rot, and because of that, nothing could gain nutrients.
Huh, so it sounds like the gods were created? Was it by the war itself, or by people engaged in the wars? Or were they once different and became corrupted? There are a lot of worlds where gods are created by the consciousness of sapient (or just sentient) creatures.++

Hmmm. So he does this out of spite, not in a misguided attempt to be of help? I absolutely think that changing someone's body without their consent is an evil deed, to be clear. I'm just wondering if this is "This god is MALEVOLENT" evil, or "This god is a force of nature that merely ENACTS evil".

... Okay you've totally got me interested. I can absolutely see how the god of hope might be evil in many situations but I've never *witnessed* it. So I need to know: How's he evil, and how's that effect things? Like, they gotta be pretty fucking bad for you to react so strongly.

So, it's no secret that my name "Clive Fuga" is chosen by me. Clive just kinda stuck when I was crossdressing, and I later chose "Fuga" because in Italian it means "escape"/"flight" Back in the day I reacted badly to being called "Mistress Fuga", yeah? Almost as bad as "Lady Fuga/Clive".
I guess time travel isn't an option then, huh? Like obviously it'd do nothing for *that* specific strand's security, but making an alternate timeline that isn't fucked to such a degree might be worth it. Obviously. I am not volunteering (what I do isn't really travelling back, just to alternate++

A great deal of the horrors I experienced came to be because ain't no one in my world able to keep world-destroying motherfuckers behind bars, and only other bad guys are willing to fucking solve the problem personally. So I have Opinions on this.

You know. you would be surprised how often that last part is super relevant even when someone isn't a tyrant? Like. How embarrassing would it be to be so bad at raising a kid that it starts not only a civil war, but one of THAT scale? Like how do you not just retire from public life after that?
