Kentucky edged Texas by two points in the preseason SEC poll. The Wildcats received 9 first-place votes, while UT picked up 6. Reigning NCAA champion Texas A&M got the final one. UK also dominated the 15-player All-SEC preseason team with 5 selections. Texas and Florida had 2 honorees.

Former Husker Kelsey Cook will play with the San Francisco Signal in their inaugural year. Cook will be back on the court next year after giving birth to her daughter this spring.

In theory, the NCAA's 5 for 5 rule allows teams to develop depth easier. For Nebraska, would a player like Skyler Pierce have played in a handful of matches last year without worry of a redshirt?
