Marching with @londonfurs.bsky.social for London pride last Saturday was abslolutely surreal Felt amazing to feel part of something truly special, representing the community that means the most to me of all 💜🐾

Missing the excitement of the countdown to a flight, knowing there's a adventure or being so excited to see friends I seldom see. Maybe I try something new soon, the walks and rides along the Thames have started to become a little repetitive

Been a while since I've done a check-in post to hold myself accountable. 2 years apart, changes include getting a health issue under control, putting in a LOT more effort rather than half-arsing workouts, more volume during sessions and sharing progress with friends, egging each other on.

Last year started off not great. I was recovering from illness, I lost my sweet dog, interpersonal thing went bang and frightened me out of a lot of social confidence. BUT Health is much better, fixed a hormonal issue, more comfortable in fitness, work doing well. Things looking up, I hope.

The general uneasiness has arrived, as the holiday season looms. I'd be lying if I said it's a easy time. Might be a chance to escape somewhere warm.

This weekend I had the honour to photograph a wonderful wedding and met a bunch of beautiful people and had a fantastic photo taken of my humble self by @w0lf.net that I'm just delighted with :)

I will tolerate a lot, but not encouragement of violence. I am horrified to have this screenshot sent to myself. I have will happily talk through any subject with anyone, but i NEVER expect any encouragement of any violence. Coward behaviour to say in a closed group where I can't see it also.

I've to @londonfurs.bsky.social for almost 10 years or so now, and i cannot understate how good the community has been for me. I've met some lifelong friends, as well as some briefer ones. It'e helped me develop my confidence and find my feet in this world. I truely could not imagine being without❤️

Around lunch-time my wonderful dog of 15 years passed away. She had an amazing run, was the best dog I could ask for, she gave such unconditional love. She passed peacefully in my arms, rest of her family also with her. It hurts so much to know she's gone, but it's for the best. Miss her so much.

This year hasn't been my greatest, I've had some small health issues but also some MH issues that always seem to come alongside it. BUT I brought in the New Years with some of the loveliest people, and I'm greatful for those who I know and care about dearly. May this year be better 🍾. And happy NY.

In much nicer news, I went to Gibraltar recently! It was fun to see the monkeys, caves etc

Feeling a little sorry for myself post LFM. It went absolutely fine but I've been a unwell recently and it definitely caused my anxiety to get the better of me. I don't do Christmas very well as I don't really have a family to go home to, so everything kinda mounts up. Looking forward to the summer.

Furry dances seem to move towards drum and bass and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!
