My new colleague can’t shut up… yapping 24/7… no silence… if I’m talking to someone he butts in, shares an opinion unwanted… Today I told him to shut up, focus on your work, don’t interfere where you haven’t been asked to respond and I said it so snappy, he was quiet for the first time ever! 😎

Yesterday I listened to a mom talking about her recently deceased youngest son in a beautiful eulogy. The love she has for him, the pain of loss and the memories she shared, made me realize to love those I care for even more and to let them know I do. It was profound, beautiful and sad.

Day 5 of work… I’m so drained. 41 degrees in the kitchen and hovering in front of a 230 degree hot plate. People walk by our open kitchen without as much as a “hi” or a “thank you”. All they can do is bitch and moan how hot it is outside drinking their beer and cocktails. 🤣 Inconsiderate Asshats.
One thing I never thought I’d ever do… 22 km of mountain biking through a forest, up a hill, through more forest and then some… roots, dips, climbs… my back, knees, hands and my everything hurts. XD But… I did it! ;)

Had my knee checked last week using MRI. Been having issues with my knee failing to function and collapsing. Also 24/7 pain when I walk, use stairs or sit for longer than 15 min with my leg bent. Turns out the proximal patella tendon is heavily ossified… bone instead of flexible tissue. Fuuuck! 🤣😅🦵
Both my parents in bed with heavy flu… in their 70s makes them so fragile. Taking care of them both cause me scrub of a brother can’t be bothered. And he literally lives 3 minutes away from them.
So weird how I can spiral into a shitty mental space whilst there is seemingly nothing to be gloomy about. Guess its just a little loneliness. Nothing the gym can’t fix though. To be fair, looking ahead at the rest of March, there are lots of fun things coming up. 😅

The last two nights I have had the sane recurring dream… Baking an upside down apple pie… Thing is, I’ve never made one in my life… I wouldn’t even know how, yet in my dreams I follow a recipe to the letter… 😅🤣
In case anybody at #NFC2026 sees this bag, it is mine. it was stolen/taken from the Temperance hotel luggage room.. 40x25x20 centimeters. Had personal items of mine in there.

Headphones, camera and e-reader gone. Police report is filled in. Gonna see how insurance deals with this. Now on my way home.
