The Commander Format Panel is meeting with WOTC in a few weeks! Leave your comments and concerns Re: Commander below! I’ll keep them in mind when we have our conversations. Alternatively, I’ll do my best to answer questions if you have them, so you know where I’m at going into the meetings.

I put Fall of the First Civilization in Polukranos Reborn as some early card draw that prevents decks from killing me before I got going and it has been a real house. On turn 3, this makes aggressive decks think twice about getting too far ahead and bunches up artifacts in hand.

We powered things up a bit to play with Post Malone and I built a SPICY Notary Hobbits deck that casts big colorless threats and even bigger X spells. If you don't mind a little Eldrazi with your hobbits, it is a very cool deck. archidekt.com/decks/22805626

This video caused me to gather data on my personal win percentages in each seat at the Commander table and I will never recover from this information. (The third column shows how changed each win percentage is from my average win percentage.)

Is going first in turn order overrated? We crunched the numbers on our own games and the answer might surprise you. Don't miss the latest episode: youtu.be/bBZ-PvOyYKY CC: @joshleekwai.bsky.social @wachelreeks.com

In light of recent news, I will be launching my own format. It's actually called Canadian Highlander. There's a points system - no, not those kind of points (the ones that get you prizes) but ones that allow you to play some of the game's most busted cards - and yes, this includes Mana Crypt.
