Real talk though-- seeing the excitement and love for *Magic* characters and worlds shown on the cards? Unmatched. The energy I see on my feed for in-universe Magic IP is unmatched compared to another UB preview season.

I absolutely LOVE the multiplayer mechanic exploration of these cards. It's just peak Commander. Itazura is such a cool/cute/awesome Commander for UR.

Mystery Booster 3 feels like such a love letter to Commander, especially the yearly lore cuts we used to get in independent Commander deck products. Have had to keep quiet about this one for a hot minute, very excited to see it in the wild 😌

Hobbit cards I wanna add to my decks, a thread: Nahiri gets a few Dwarves to consider. Dain is the biggest add, effectively Reyav that makes an equipment. Lonely Mountain is an easy add to the manabase. Kili is the exact kind of two drop the deck wants.

It's very easy to say that The Hobbit will be successful because of the classic fantasy vibe fitting in with Magic's aesthetic. What's actually gonna make it feel great is the fact the set is full of classic Magic: normal citizens, Spiders, Goblins, Wolves, White Weenie flyers... it's just Magic.
