The problem with House of the Dragon is that all the characters are pretty much awful. It’s fun to watch but if the dragons incinerated everyone, I’d be ok with it.

Ok, here's one for medievalists: I was in Norwich and was looking for the grave of William of Norwich (the first "blood libel") but everyone was very cagey about where he is currently buried. Anyone know the status of William of Norwich's grave today? (Pictured: his shrine in Norwich Cathedral)

Sad to see people posting on social media negatively about Rod Liddle, who died yesterday. If I have disagreed with you very strongly in life - and you die - I hope I'll be either silent, or kind.

One of the things I love about my work is when family members of Holocaust survivors/victims contact me and I can help even in some small way with telling them a little more about their relatives.

And they want to cut history programs in the UK...
