Meet Laera! Coworker and friend to Shae. She’s a bit short even by Selakyr standards! Laera has been encouraging Shaelyn to get out more and has been supportive, but what Shae does not know is that Laera also has quite a “big” crush on her.

ALT: Digital art of my OC Ducky, a large, monstrous figure with a mop, stepping back in surprise as an injured stranger drags themself across the floor towards him, reaching out for help. The floor and walls are old, dingy and in much disrepair. The figure on the floor is androgynous, wearing a hat, dressed in blue, and showing signs of injury. Ducky is dressed in bright yellow overall and boots, and has a large claw arm like a carb's, and many tooth like protrusion. Patches of their skin are pale an inhuman, while the other patches are stretched and raw, as if missing the top layers of the epidermis. Ducky has many small beady orange eyes randomly clustered over his face. He seems shocked.

2022 coming up with some character designs, when inspiration struck! How Owarii came to be! Alt-text for lore and design thoughts.

3 rough sketch designs of demons.

Left figure idea was a large muscular reptilian demon woman with a focus on close combat. Eventually getting her own design.

Central figure was the start of what world become Owarii. With the initial character idea being a general goblin design with taller humanoid proportions. An asymmetric wardrobe with inspirations from sarees and other traditional Indian garments.

3rd figure was an asymmetric design with a larger beefy arm offset with a longer frail looking arm with dagger like fingers. Ultimately going no where after this initial sketch idea.

With more of an emphasis on some subtle cat like features then the current design. With a mischievous smile hinting at the chaotic nature of the character.

Completed character sheet of “Suneater” Owarii from 2022.
Leaning into the vibrant red and golds for her clothing. A bright and vibrant color scheme to match her eccentric mischievous personality.

Channeling a small orb of light, her power based on absorbing heat/light transferring it into a compressed orb of pure energy with its destructive power based on how much energy was absorbed.

A little scene to visually show how Owarii’s power interacts with the environment. As she absorbs the light from the sun a void halo effect shows around the orb, showing a pitch black night sky.
Her arm is injured, missing a finger with another gash in her hand. The dark demon lifeblood evaporating into the air from the wounds.
