A few months ago I got to design the staff t-shirt for The Hobbit x MTG! I relished painting some of the pivotal characters and elements of the story. The stylization is inspired by Tolkien's own paintings, and I wanted it to look as though Bilbo had drawn these things in his book.

Ive been getting into flatstyle and doing some studies of artists like Woody Crumbo and its been super fun. Both of these are direct studies of pieces by Crumbo
Proud to present my lifesize T. rex head, affectionately named Hannibal. I created this myself from start to finish- digital sculpture, resin 3D printing, painting, etc. Huge thanks to my friend @rj-palmer.com for instrumental crits and redlines during the sculpting process.
Really gotta get my hands on some clay or somethin soon been really feeling the need to sculpt some little dudes...
