Years ago, I read Ken Alibek’s book on Russia’s secret Cold War bio-warfare program. It is a scary book. This new book from @AnnieJacobsen, which I have just begun, is genuinely spine-tingling and is an important prompt to review whole-of-society bio-war defences.
