It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

I think it's impressive that we *are* approaching the length of the Spanish American war, which effectively ended Spanish colonial rule. Like 10 weeks of major fighting and a treaty in effect at the 4 month mark, and that's with travel and communication slowing that last part down.
