I found the Wilson review of The Odyssey not very insightful. She surely would have made a different movie (likely one I would like to see), but the way she delivers her critique without alluding to the limitations of the format and the specificity of her perspective felt out of touch to me

here's an idea: crawl book/movie/tv/game review sites and put verdict + star count under the @popfeed.social lexicon with separate users a la greg.nybooks.com@mediacra.wl. Then we can have atproto rottentomatoes/(open|metra)critic/etc. Is this anything?
claude is so much better at deciding what code to keep vs which comments that I'm starting to think coding is EVEN DUMBER than I previously thought
I don't think people are ready for this kind of joke yet.
the failure of the open web and the success of snaptokgram is that the latter put usable means of expression into normal peoples' hands
"LLMs' sycophancy risk making heavy users more egocentric and unreasonably self-confident aka delulu" boring, depressing, said by many "Talking to an LLM a lot teaches active listening and really engaging with the other person's expression" nouveau, unheard, contrarian
My position on AI consciousness is that you really should try to eat less meat if you can
My talk from @antithesis.com 's BugBash 2026 is up: "Steel, Rust and Truth" It's a talk I'm very proud of. It also covers a *lot* of ground, so, if you hate my rambly style, you may not like it, but hopefully you do www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2AO...

Things are moving so fast that the limiting factor is quickly becoming my ability to rapidly process emotions.
Is there a feed that shows my revchron with uspol filtered out? Been not following/muting a bunch of folks I like bc of uspol fatigue, but I’d love to still see their other posts

have you gotten your OpenAI assigned tulpa yet?
Can’t wait for all the LLM coding apps to simultaneously rediscover ✨tabs✨

Would you rather have to write UI code - pre declarative reactive paradigm - without an AI agent
Working on a UI for scroll based navigation and the factorization example is putting some kind of spell on me

Using a Pixel for work I’m really amazed by how ass Google’s motion design still is Then I see people running Steam on Android and I think my next phone won’t be an iPhone
2026 is the year we be starting doing land acknowledgements for the braincoders yall
In the past I already got inspired by my own projects to a delulu degree, but having LLMs churn out progress on them, is definitely making me go mentally stratospheric. Next year I'll either be Woke Elon or I'll log off and live as a fisherman in a corner of spain (more likely, despite my veganism)
As time goes on, Jewish anti-Zionism reveals itself not only as solidarity with Palestinians but also as an anti-antisemitism strategy. We want out of this toxic dialectic, this terrible feedback loop between Israeli belligerence and the Jewish precarity it incessantly engenders
I know we love shitting on apps for killing files, but it's not like the web is great at providing APIs that make file ops seamless. A galore of open & save dialogs will not get us there
Operating systems and apps have become the one of the biggest bottlenecks for what we can do with computers, it’s not hardware by any stretch.
A $499 MacBook Neo with the brains of a couple-year-old iPhone can run Xcode, Photoshop, Blender, Terminal, and pretty much everything else you can think of, yet your $3,200 iPad Pro, with a desktop-class chip, cannot 😑 What are we doing here?
Finally set up my @blento.app while wearing my @germnetwork.com cap. At some point all I’m wearing will be atproto and the set bonus will be so sick people will call it the final network effect
One thing we keep hearing about why LLMs can write code is that we have an objective function for determining the correctness of their output. We actually don’t! This bizarre belief is at the root of the problem with how these tools are being deployed.
