Noise, art, cultural programming. Teflon Spine, YMGER, and other stuff. I like my synthesizers like my coffee: bought in pretty boutique stores or from strangers on the internet.

I do a few things every year that are contraindicated by good advice. One of the "good advice"s I frequently forgo is the idea that people have a certain threshold for noise, and not to make too many shows. As if noise were an appetizer for music. <thred>

Something that I think puts Vancouver and Toronto in similar baskets for noise is, uh, both SuperJen and I are kindof light-witch. There is a sincere draw towards the left hand path in noise, and it leads to community deserts.

If Born Slippy describes the perspective of an alcoholic, there are alcoholics out there having way more fun than I did. Tho I'm sure I talked to the most blond I ever met, shouting, "Lager lager lager!" at some time or another.

Power electronics. That's fun. It's like a one-person rock band but it's invariably and inarguably better. Except for Boris maybe. Maybe. Feed me your Power Electronics artists.

I'm trying to establish a sleep schedule and failing miserably. For fun, I did timed edibles till I'm two silly to remember to take more edibles. It gives you a nasty THC-hangover and doesn't work by the way. So insteaaaaaaaad I'm gonna try to do the adult thing and not use my phone, lol.

Just quickmath with approximate stats. Officially, 0.1% of earth's human population perished to Covid (it was more like about three times that but w/e). That's a substantial percentage of the world population. A lot of formerly healthy ppl but a _lot_ of ppl with problems society deems non-real.
