Yea so! Looks like your problem is some chewed up wires… and a chewed through coolant hose… and a chewed through break cables and your CAT was chewed out… idk who did all this but it will be about 1 $9,999… you can send it via- Oh you came in just for an oil change?

this is literally what I do for a living and it's called "blameless root cause" where you identify everything that went wrong without assigning blame to any one person in particular. the NTSB really went all in on this and it's one of the reasons airplane travel is/(was?) so safe in the US.

I would like to propose the Taco Bell Principle When a person/institution Did A Problem, & IMMEDIATELY fesses up & takes proactive steps to solve it That's exactly what we want them to do? So how bout we let them live ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

my confidence in my ability to learn to knit fair isle color work in the round using both hands simultaneous yarn feeding is high as compared to the number of stitches I have made so far but it is coming very easily. (Much *more* easily than the damn brown hat btw.)

It occurred to me that I could turn the cell phone off while I am at home on weekends, at least for a half day or something, to see what that's like. Computer is ok, just no phone. I'm going to keep track of how many hours phone off I can have in August. 3 so far!

I need to make up my mind about the vest knitting project. The smart thing to do would be to get $20 of cheap acrylic from Michaels and use that for the learning project and reknit for real with wool. But there is enough plastic. I probably will do it in acrylic but get thrift store yarn.

At this point perhaps I just should tell all the humans what it is they are supposed to be doing. Surely they will listen and react positively to the insight into what their existential goals ought to be.

I'm going to be pretty darn out and about tomorrow, like 9 hours around Roosevelt and Ravenna Park. I guess I'll do a big chunk of knitting, something like that...
