I’m not going to hail Barrett and Roberts for allowing us to count our votes. It’s a huge win for democracy, but it shouldn’t have even been a question. That we were one vote away from disenfranchising votes is all the more reason to expand the court in 2029.
Our Big Bear eaglet Sandy was knocked out of the nesting tree accidentally by her brother this morning. They are just about ready to fledge, but they’re not sure where Sandy is. She fell to a lower limb and was hanging upside down, then fell to a lower limb again, and fell again.
Cruelty has always been the point with this administration. Many thought perhaps due to bad press during his 1st admin that he would have stopped this. He can’t. Cruelty against brown people is in his blood. He feels it in his bones. It’s who he is at his core. It’s innate to him.
