Yes, on the 1st of August I got down my Halloween mugs. I have a lot of Emma Bridgewater mugs (no I'm not sponsored but if they fancy sponsoring a podcast then you know I'm here for that) spooky season is starting earlier for me each year! Who am I kidding its spooky season all year round for me!

⚡️ Flash Back Friday ⚡️ Biggleswade's Phantom Army episode. A 15th century sighting of a spectral army. The land where this ghost army was seen is not too far away from the lost settlement of Kinwick which was abandoned after the 1349 black death and is featured on the next episode of the podcast!

Today I have been working on the next episode of Weird in the Wade, which is about the Black Death in Bedfordshire and in particular the places left as ghost villages after the 1349 plague. The image below is from the 15th Century and the artist is unknown.

On Tuesday I visited Fairfield House in Biggleswade, it was to use the recording / rehearsal space there. But it was also a bit of a pilgrimage because this house is where the Breeders rehearsed their first album Pod before recording it in Edinburgh. 1/2

I have so much to do this week. Yet I just sat watching Diploma Duck videos about Duck with ADHD for like 20 minutes. Still a good duck I guess. (This will make no sense unless you’ve seen said videos)
