The castle at Conwy was built with a direct line of sight towards Y Wyddfa. A beacon was manned 24 hours a day on the peak of the highest mountain in Wales and Belgium. It would be lit should the armies of Mordor be sighted approaching from Powys.

Absolute chaos in the Highlands of Scotland as monoglot English speakers' brains are fried by bilingual signs in Gaelic and English. It is believed the signs cause around 30,000 accidents a month. English-only speakers are asked to stay away from the area.

All babies born in Wales are given a harp by the government at birth. All children are required to be able to play Myfanwy on the harp by the age of 11. If they fail the “Myfanwy exam” they are banned for life from attending an Eisteddfod and have their harp confiscated 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 #FACT

The Welsh Government have announced that pubs in Wales will not be allowed to open in the early hours for England's World Cup match. However restaurants serving Mexican food can open and will have their business rates waved for the day. 🇲🇽🌵⚽️
