Missed the whole of the build up to the game because I was watching Batman Begins with Child 2. Like that bit in Peep Show where they’re imagining they’re watching Heat during something awful, except I just watched it.

My main issue with Haaland is that he normalizes Manchester City and kids that don’t know better might start thinking it’s ok to support that club

Since USMNT now going through the usual England discourse of "is it ok to support them": I think you have to accept sports are a stupid place where nationalism is fair game. It's fine to support them. But you don't really need to argue that doing so is morally *good*, either. It's just dumb fun.

Not sure what to think about the government of the UK’s future hanging on the decision of less than 10,000 people in a place I’ve never heard of to vote for a less racist party than the openly racist one.

I needed a username for something else and he popped into my head for some reason. Once got into a row (my fault) with some Everything Is The West's Fault people and ended up getting admonished for appropriating the tragic story of a working class folk hero or something. I just quite like his vibe.

explain your @ I wanted to use my real first name so I was somewhat genuine. But didn’t want to use my full name to remain somewhat anonymous and free to post stupid shit. (Also not my actual pic) the Average was fun but didn’t set too high of expectations.

This post isn’t that hard to make but it’s still very welcome. Say what you like about the Green Party, nobody there is wringing their hands about “legitimate concerns” and making snide comments about middle class Islington dinner parties.

Once again, Brighton and Hove’s brave and inclusive city has massively outnumbered an attempted fascist march on our streets. Love will win. Pics: forward view, backward view, team view, street view. #gohomeracists #Brighton

A small number of fascist marchers waiting behind police lines outside Brighton station.

Arresting them on terror charges is still mental, but I do wonder whether all those Infinity Foods grandmas who professed to support Palestine Action knew they were backing someone who attacked a woman with a sledgehammer and left her with a fractured spine.

Huge admiration for Arsenal’s performance last night, but why do fans talk about being “proud” of the team? You weren’t, like, training them or giving tactical advice or anything.
