Some as recently as this week. "These are ads that were reviewed, approved, and allowed to run by Meta, never encountering interference while the company collected the ad dollars."

I hate this a lot All of these older movies broke ground and pushed the boundaries of filmmaking in their day. Most of the “better thans” have the unfathomable advantage of 21st century film and editing techniques (and a much longer list I could bore the fuck out of you with)

again I think if we had open and free psychological treatment, an understanding of kink and human sexuality, comprehensive sex ed and a much less puritanical view on sex in this country we’d get a lot more done

Dr Strangelove is ageless and in the discussion of funniest film ever made. Oppenheimer was a phenomenal one-watch summer blockbuster. The two movies inhabit entirely different tiers in the cinema pantheon, one much lower than the other.
