I'm curious about a lot of things. Never enough books. Love b&w photography and art. Oh, and by the way, I have a thing for lighthouses. NO POLITICS 🚫
And this morning the Shed is an earthen bowl, filled with sunwarmed blackberries…

I try to refuse sentiment, but few words stir my heart more than Free Public Library. However, I will admit that the phrase Free Local Museum comes exceedingly close. How can one not adore an eccentric collection of obscure objects acting as ghost-magnets? – #CJosiffe

We drive darkening, ghosted roads. In these last minutes of solar alchemy, every turn is towards folklore. We become one with the land's long memory. One with a hodology where every traveller is another time's temporal shade. We become high strangeness. – #DAKilroy, 1982

The two archways at Dawn. Both images taken this morning in St Michael's tower on Glastonbury Tor. Taken just a few moments apart. Which is your favourite?

Hanging on the wall in the entrance hall was the #portrait of the former mistress. As I stood there looking at her it was as if she was studying me. Hazel eyes, full lips, auburn hair. It was as if she was judging to see if I was worthy of the role. Was I worthy? Only she knew. #thingstowriteabout
Bees struggle in this weather 🥵 We find a lot of bees running out of fuel when perched on our sunflowers Use a water bottle & fine spray the flowers, fruit, seeds (what ever stage they are at) close to the bee, & they will hoover them up & regain strength
