Everything that is happening surrounding the Endangered Species Act is an absolute disgrace. This has been said a lot already but it’s a reminder that these politicians and billionaires don’t give a fuck about their country or their people.

Another lifer for me! This massive Regal Horned Lizard happened to be on the road right at sunset. This was definitely one of my top lizard species to find in Arizona after failing to do so last year, and what an unexpected way to come across one. #herps 🦎

An insanely beautiful Long-nosed Snake I found crossing a busy road on my way back from a productive herping night. I'm a huge fan of this species, the colors are ridiculous, certainly one of the prettiest snakes out in Arizona and a species I'm always happy to see! #herps 🐍

A STUNNING Colorado Shovelnose Snake found right at sunrise today! I've been lucky enough to see a few of these during the past week, but this particular individual has soooo much orange, crazy beautiful. #herps 🐍

My most unexpected lifer from last month was this stunner of a Madrean Mountain Kingsnake I found on the road! One of the species I wanted to see the most while in Arizona, yet I had no idea how to even look for them since they are so elusive. I got super lucky this time! #herps 🐍

A few Desert Iguanas I've been able to see this week out in the desert! This is such a cool and unique species of lizard, one of the two species of the Iguana family native to the US. They seem to be fairly common once it gets really hot outside later in the day. #herps 🦎

A few Sidewinders found in the past couple of days out in extreme Southwestern Arizona! I love this species so much, it's so cool to see them partly burrowed in the sand! #herps 🐍

A few Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes found on the road this weekend as well! Despite how common they can be in Arizona, I'll never get tired of photographing them, they are awesome snakes! #herps 🐍

My first snake lifer in Arizona this year! A gorgeous Saddled Leaf-nosed Snake I found crossing the road during a pretty warm night out in the desert! This is such a cool species, their little nose allows them to burrow in search of reptile eggs, their main source of food! #herps 🐍

A couple of Banded Sand Snakes I found while road cruising this weekend! I'm a pretty big fan of the whole Sonora genus, but Sand Snakes take the cake for me, they are incredible snakes! #herps 🐍

A stunner of a Desert Patch-nosed Snake found today in extreme southwestern Arizona! This was one of my last snakes for the year last year, and it's now my first non-venomous snake in Arizona since coming back! #herps 🐍

Lifer Lined Snake found in Missouri! This was one of my biggest targets while I was out there! I've heard people find these snakes by chance in their backyards throughout their range, but seem somewhat tough to target depending on the area. Super happy to check this one off my list. #herps 🐍

Officially landed another seasonal job finally after lots of applications, so I will be heading back to Arizona once again until November!

A few Three-toed Box Turtles from a very productive trip to Missouri recently! This was also a lifer for me and I was beyond stoked to find several, as well as so many different looking individuals! #herps 🐢

A beautiful Prairie Kingsnake from the weekend in Kentucky. This is only my 2nd ever individual of this species, and the first in 3 years. They are super difficult to come by around the area, so needless to say, I was beyond excited to see one! #herps 🐍
