Did what you're not supposed to do and looked at prognosis stats for mum. It's...not great. Early days and all but in a way I'm glad I know now so I can make the most of the time we have.

Definite social hangover after tour. It's weird to go from spending days with someone to then knowing you're not going to see them for at least another month (or more for CG who is stepping back from choir). Feels like I've lost something important.

Oh god public speaking. Public singing is fine but standing up in front of 50 people you actually know and saying how great the guy you like is for organising something? There is not enough wine in all of Holland.

The difference between packing for solo travel and packing for the tour is a lot. I am basically packing every dress I own 'just in case'. In case of what? No idea. But it's happening.

Concert over. We were ok but it was fun nonetheless and the acoustics were very forgiving. I also sold almost double the amount of tickets as the last concert which is good for a first go. This has been such an overly stimulating weekend. I need to be in a dark room for a while now.

How on earth do people do things every weekend. I am knackered and have a concert tomorrow. I will need at least a week to recover (which will then be choir tour- eek).

Spent the morning at St Paul's cathedral - another place I'd never visited when living in London. Couldn't get over the thought of how stimulating it would be for a chorister. You'd never get bored during the sermon with all that art to look at
