My boy just stated that in all the expensive schools specialist maths isn't taught in the classroom, they only do revision, all the work is set and taught by the private tutoring companies (eg Contour). This makes me sad/mad, and love his teacher even more.
I know we all love street art, but 99% of graffiti is ugly shit, despoiling cities, posted by cretins.

Being an atheist is the most boring nothing to talk about philosophy ever. It is as simple as not thinking about something that doesn't exist. People are weird needing to have a team to barrack for. (Keeping the church out of everyone's business isn't atheistic, it's for everyone)
r/atheism was like 75% correct and 25% incorrect at worst btw.
Aussie comedians are mostly snapping back at Dave Hughes and it's pretty funny.

Did anyone ever ask for the 'focused' inbox? It's just another feature idiotically forced on to us.
I think I might have previously mentioned that my family has been stolidly middle class since the middle ages. So anyway, accountant and soldier for the menfolk, housewives for the women. (So what *I* would be doing would be making an absolute hash of any of those occupations).
Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?
Lily D'Ambrosio has been a fantastic energy Minister. It would be a sorry postscript to her career if the Libs threw away her work following the election.

Imagine if the commonwealth games had a winter component. We'd all be rolling our eyes at Canada. As it is, these games seem to be about equivalent to a national meet in the pool.
