1/ In March 2025, shortly after his return to power, Donald Trump’s administration postponed the compliance deadline for the FDA’s Food Traceability Rule by 30 months. That moved it back from January 20, 2026, to July 20, 2028. We are now paying the price.

UNREAL: According to the Ellisons, opposing the Paramount merger that gives them control of CBS, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, CMT, Paramount, Warner Bros, HBO, CNN, DC Studios and Tik Tok's algorithm is anti-Semitic. Actually it's called opposing oligarchy! www.mediaite.com/media/entert...

At the risk of Jinxing these teams, my top four WNBA teams I believe have a real shot winning it all. Minnesota Lynx (Without a doubt) Golden State Valkyries (Excellent team ) Las Vegas Aces (Possible repeat as champions) Atlanta Dream (Young, talented, and hungry) Playoffs are coming. #WNBA

I grew up on the top deck of the number 44, watching London go by. Today, our buses are cleaner, greener and more affordable than ever. As the son of a bus driver, I couldn’t be happier. Delighted to contribute my favourite bus route for @theobserveruk.bsky.social

Sigh. DSA endorsed a billionaire who got rich from private prisons and fossil fuels. And a pro-gun rapist. They have zero credibility. They are, like the right, focused on slogans and optics. And are shot through with anti-Black racism, sexism, ageism, antisemitism and homophobia. It’s too bad.

When the Times this month profiled Mr. Gordillo, who studied fine arts at Yale, the reporter asked him where he lived. The question was relevant, in part, because many of the high-profile activists are the offspring of affluent parents: www.nytimes.com/2026/08/22/n...

Am not including the article regarding what took place at the Chicago Sky's game last night. Not giving these jerks/morons the publicity they are seeking. At live games I have attended, never seen people, i.e., men, throw disgusting items on the court/playing field at men's sporting events.

Forget about Sophie Cunningham because the real WNBA exciting story is about the Chicago Sky's guard Sydney Taylor. The League passed her over and she went undrafted. Yet, she was determined to be an WNBA player. Now she is a 25 year old WNBA rookie sensation. valkyries.wnba.com/news/gameday...

Oh, snap, what an amazing idea!! The subsidies would be like, I dunno, food coupons or, say, stamps—people could exchange them for groceries, except that with today's technology you could give them magnetic stripes that could hold their benefits—electronic benefit transfer cards or something!!!

Hear me out. What if instead of selling food below cost to all comers at taxpayer expense, then using more taxpayer dollars to subsidize private companies that can't compete, we had a program targeting nutritional assistance just to the people who needed it, as a sort of supplement?
