It's me, that guy you know from real life, or maybe from Twitter! Making my name unsearchable to fundamentalist evangelicals since 2020.

I'm finally watching My Adventures With Superman, on episode 6, and so far, while it's fun and cute, I'm disappointed that it's basically just a Superman show with a little more focus on his relationships. I thought the whole point was that it was supposed to be centered on Lois and her perspective.

I know people in the MTG world hate on Energy as a mechanic — and for good reason since it's often very poorly implemented — but I just realized the reason I really enjoy my energy deck is because it gives me a simple little engine-builder mini-game to play while I play, and that's nice for me.

I grew up primarily using Apple computers; our first family computer was a pre-OSX Power Macintosh and my first personal computer was a pre-Intel iBook G4. I say that just to say I have decades of experience with MacOS. I JUST NOW learned you can hold Option for extra right-click menu items.

Not sure I'd say Death Stranding stuck the landing, but the big twist at the end was fun. Kinda wish some of that plot could've been paced out more through the rest of the game instead of making me watch a feature-length cutscene at the end, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering.

Death Stranding is fascinating for the way its themes flip back and forth between feeling childishly and naively straightforward and optimistic and feeling like everything has been an enormous and hopelessly complex web of lies. There is no in-between and I can't tell which way it's gonna go.

I finally tried the new Ghost In The Shell, and while I love the art style and the lighthearted tone, it takes SO MUCH energy to watch because the exposition is SO DENSE and you have to choose between subs that move at lightning speed or a dub that's buried in the mix without closed captioning.

"But Meredith! Texans are nonvoters. I have never been to Texas but I know more about Texas than you. I am very smart." They're nonvoters because our voting rights keep getting gutted. And a lot of folks are genuinely apathetic because nothing good ever happens. Voter apathy IS voter suppression.

Watch this the next time you want to say that all Texans are ignorant hicks who deserve everything bad that happens to them. Watch these people fight. Watch how our voting rights keep getting stripped away as they have been for over a decade. If you won't help, then shut up and get out of the way.

Happening now in TX: Voters in battleground Tarrant County are telling GOP local officials what they think of their plan to cut 30% of voting locations this year “Nothing you can do can stop us from removing you in November”

I've been getting really fed up with Windows lately, but my new office is Mac-only, and MAN is it so much worse!! It's like the UX version of that boss who's constantly pushing his latest flashy, hair-brained idea while totally neglecting fundamental functions. I mind-blowing how bad it is.

This is incredible, there's details in her performance that I never noticed because they're so fast and such tiny intervals, but slowed down you can hear her laser-precise pitch and timing. But she's not just technical, there's also so much feeling, and nailing both of those at once is such a feat.

If you’ve never heard the (very cool) 33rpm slowed-down version of Jolene, you should really listen to it now—listening to it at that speed lets you hear how incredibly on-pitch Dolly is the entire time. She was a marvel

I just discovered an ADHD trick! If you're having trouble reading things on the computer, especially if it's long blocks of text, try minimizing everything else and then sizing the window down to where you can only see about 5 or 6 lines at a time, and each line is about 12 words long, max.
