The King’s speech to Congress was remarkably political. He reminded them of their constitutional role in limiting executive power, called for Ukraine support, defended NATO, challenged isolationism, celebrated inter-faith relations, and urged action on the climate crisis.

US Catholic bishops seem to be directly engaging JD Vance here. Vance suggested that the pope was unaware of Catholic Just War Theory — thereby missing the pope’s point, namely, that the US/Israel attack on Iran, launched mid-negotiations, cannot satisfy the Just War criteria.

I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together.
This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.
