I understand we are now on this service engaging in the "'jif' vs. 'gif'" pronunciation discourse, and before it tears us apart into warring camps, allow me to offer a third suggestion, which is that it is pronounced as it should be, in its original Spanish formulation, as "HEEF". Thank you.
