Even with the addition of Hezonja, I think the Cavs should still try to get Kuminga. They should also try to get off the Harden contract but that’s a different conversation. Harden, Mitchell, Hezonja, Kuminga, Mobley, Allen, Tyson, Meleek, Robinson to start the season sounds good to me.

I’m going back to posting during this game. Cavs were up 17-16. A basically nothing lead. But here’s the thing to note: Those 17 points were scored by Mitchell and Mobley alone. No one else. He chose to sub those 2 out. He’s providing too much ammo to justify being fired.

I originally thought him saying Dan told him to play through JA was just ass kissing but maybe it was a far more revealing comment…

My eyes are telling me the players are in it for each other, but the coach lost this locker room around the 3:30 mark of game 1 after not making single adjustment to slow down Brunson. I’m almost certainly projecting, but I know that was the moment for me at least.
