Anything of social value requires difficult & sincere conversation to resolve. What you seem to have missed is that the majority of people don't want 'equitable resolution', they want only for themselves. The means of communication isn't the barrier. People *choose* to not have conversations.
Is it crazy to post on social media that we need to spend less time talking to each other on social media? I do my share of doomscrolling. But what I've learned during my lifetime is that democracy requires having difficult conversations — and having our ideas challenged.
