This afternoon, I joined Archbishop Elpidophoros and faith leaders at St. Nicholas National Shrine to mark the 25 years since the horrific terror attacks of 9/11 and reflect on the resilience of our city.
@pbs.org stepped up to help kids after 9/11. Elmo gave voice to the fears that needed to be addressed by the grownups, who were also hurt & scared. This is what community looks like when we all come together - neighbors helping neighbors.
This should be on the front page of every newspaper tomorrow.
