I got to work on one of my older songs yesterday for a bit and come up with an entirely new section. I think it's a good sign that I can't stop listening to what I've written, almost like somebody else came up with it. I will say that it's extremely catchy and dancy. May says I'm talented 👉👈

I've had two very interesting dreams lately. 1. I was playing Pee Wee Herman in a play and the Doctor from Voyager was directing it. I forgot my lines so I pulled him on stage at the end to interview him about a painting.

Didn't get the promotion at work yesterday, which was a bit of a bummer because I worked exceptionally hard the last quarter and pushed through some incredibly challenging personal issues. I have high hopes for the next quarter though and will keep trying!

Kinda wild that I got 17,500 steps yesterday as someone who has been pretty sedentary the last 5 or so years. My body had been feeling pretty awful from not moving though and being forced to get movement while I was in NYC last week gave me the momentum I needed. I am a steps goddess.
