This funny thing happens to me after a few days in france. The monologue in my brain is still in English, but it has a French accent. Do other non-native french speakers have this experience? I'm so curious about why it happens!

Over Thanksgiving, my dad, who admittedly, has come a long way from his socially conservative upbringing, was complaining about how he “no longer sees himself represented” in baseball “these days because there are no longer and white players.” Just looked it up. ~60% of MLB players are white.
