I have a horrible, nauseating feeling that the next RPG Maker is going to let people make PlayStation-style RPGs with pre-rendered backgrounds, but all the backgrounds are going to be AI generated. I've found RPG Maker unimpressive since VX, but if they go with AI, that would be utterly atrocious.
