You’re here too?

Just turning on the Phils game. Those Os unis are trash. Can’t believe they are wearing those at home. Should be guaranteed L. If we lose to that, season is over.

Soccer is my favorite sport and always will be, but Jesus Christ they've got to do something about this VAR issue. Every exciting moment devolves into legalistic nitpicking and standing around. For a match like this to end with Zapruder analysis and trigonometry is simply not fun!!!

Took the fam to the Phils game tonight and used the DC resident $5 ticket perk, section was mostly Phils fans and it was a great win. Came home and put on USMNT. Exciting/sloppy game. Love it. Here’s some thoughts from R1 of Travelers. Hoping my Cole outright holds up. substack.com/@fairwaywood...

The U.S. Open starts Thursday at Shinnecock Hills. In 2018, not one player in a 156-player field completed a bogey-free round. Here’s what the data says about who survives this week. 🧵

Jackson Suber leads the RBC Canadian Open heading into the final day. He hasn’t been dominant, just steady. Will that be enough to hold off Tommy Fleetwood, Wyndham Clark, Bud Cauley and Sam Burns? Notes ahead of R4: substack.com/@fairwaywood...

I am LOCKED in to the World Cup. BUT I am also still LOCKED into golf. Ben James leads the RBC Canadian Open after Round 2: James is making his professional debut. There's no season baseline in our model, but his TourCast dispersion is among the tightest. substack.com/@fairwaywood...

Some thoughts heading into the Memorial: Scottie is chasing Tiger territory this week. Tiger won three straight from ‘99–‘01; Scottie won the last two, so one more ties it. My model gives Scottie a history score of 9.65 out of 10, the highest in the field by margin. (1/5)

JJ Spain is the standout from R1 of the Charles Schwab to me. And to the betting markets, he’s topping most of the odds boards. Solid all around, including with the putter, which had been missing. Course should dry up next few days, making conditions harder than R1. substack.com/profile/5326...
