If I’m going to learn a new platform, figure it’s better to learn new Hank Social than new Recon. More features already, and certainly less arrogant.
More Claude abuse-ish. “Hm I wonder if I’ve posted that pic already?” “Claude download all my Bsky media and compare all the pix in this dir to the ones I’ve already posted and keep pix I haven’t posted.” Done in 15 minutes.
My new Recon app is Firefox Focus; when you restart FFF it always lets you set your location. The Recon app does some odd caching/updating of location, so not best if you’re traveling. Plus Firefox Focus feels faster than the app to me.
Oh Recon’s location services are so broken. It knows I’m in London, but there’s another London 5400 miles away? So confused.

Want to be top of the new Recon grid for a lot of users? Use a web browser and set your location manually! 10 Downing Street SW1 is close, but there's an even closer spot :-) For users that don't have location sharing enabled, you'll pop to the top of their grid.

Made another vest this weekend. checked out hide grain, placed the pattern on the hide (and cut it out), sewed the shoulders, sides/pockets, and then clipped up the Big Seam, tailoring the curves for my body shape.
