One of the reasons I so greatly dislike the “can men and women be friends?” nonsense (yes, full stop, shut up) is that it casts suspicion on people with opposite-sex friends instead of where it more often belongs: on people with no opposite-sex friends.

if you want to get a slight idea of what Omori is like before playing it, watch the 2017 trailer it's close enough to the final version of the game that it's decently accurate, but distant enough that it doesn't contain actual spoilers but seriously just go play omori, yes you specifically

OMORI. It's hard to recommend this without giving spoilers, but provided you can handle its more intense moments, this game is amazing in so, so many ways. Seriously, buy it already.

We finally have an answer to "Does Nokia's internal holy grail of HQ + unused ringtones still exist?". Unfortunately, Microsoft deleted them when transferring Nokia data to HMD Global upon the sale in 2016. I am truly disheartened by the devaluation of historical content.

I tried making a comparative table (of the variants I have access to), and you can really see the swapping of suffixes, forced rhymes, copying of parts to match other parts, and reinterpretations happening. The german variant from Malmedy is probably the closest to an "original"

3. I know omori fans cant read but headspace does actually progress the plot. Because headspace is mostly all metaphorical. The point is that it seems unassuming but since its born from the recesses of sunny’s mind it still has shit going on. Especially from dialogue w the friends

Adjacent languages in this (moribund 😢) dialect continuum *do* have contrastive/lexical stress. Occitan does, like standard Catalan, Castilian, and Italian. I don't know much about Franco-Provençal, and Google searches are giving me conflicting results… some say it's like French, others not.

Nope! That's an unstressed /ɛ/ Francoprovençal uses accents for quality, not stress (like french)
