Two week ago the White Rock Gamers play Hookers opening attack at Antietam. 4 Union Brigades against 3 Confederate. To win we had to occupy both the Dunker church and Farm. I played Union.
Last night the White Rock Group played a made up scenario of Rapid Fire Reloaded Russian Front. The scenario was Germans hold 3 villages, Soviets take them. I played German using a battalion of Wehrmacht 20mm figures I painted up. The Russians rolled where to come on. They showed up behind our lines
I was very fortunate to play in Chris Leach’s Lake Trasimene game last night. Ruleset Control to Catastrophe by Chris Leach. Here are a few photos of the game. The Carthaginians boiled out of the woods, while the Gauls commanded by myself waited a turn. Then off we went!

Oct 29th 1943 the Battle Of Nevel outside Velikiye Luki my wife's grandfather was killed. My wife's mother is the little girl on the left. He was drafted as a cook as he worked at the Maggi factory in Cologne. He obviously transferred to a line company later.
Game on Thursday Control to Catastrophe Caesar. War of the Roses. My continent Clifford the Butcher was on the left flank of the Lancastrians. Red and white figures. My opponent managed to get numerous hits from 2 turns of arrow storm, this would not be good when it came to melee.
An ACW made up battle. Confederates attacking a Union position. We had all light rifled artillery the Rebs had smoothbores.
