My dad left the farm in eastern Oregon and learned to fly. He saw the world at war and wanted to be part of seeing it at peace. His path took us to #ethiopia. He believed in the US as a place that would always work on more justice, kindness, decency for all.
Fathers! Dr Karen Chin credited hers for her interest in science. Mary Morland ran a scientific household with quite a guy. My dad was inspired by WWII to take us to Ethiopia. And my kids had an adventuresome dad, too. So many stories. #dinosaurs
