It’s nice to see everyone’s textual analysis of The Odyssey It’s almost like the humanities give you entertainment, feelings, pleasure, and fun/interesting stuff to talk about, as well as lenses into both past and current society

I tried to warn my daughter about the cyclops scene and she said: "The Cyclops? Do you mean Polyphemus?" So, yeah, maybe I should take her to see it.

It is a perfect summer morning in Maine. Just absolutely perfect. We're going to get in that canoe over there and paddle across to our little low tide sand bar beach on the other side.
I just heard her whisper "oh no what's he going to do with the rat is he going to eat the rat?"
