Thinking about our next creative prompt for our Gather and Write body doubling sessions. "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself," How may this relate to your creative work? How does it relate to your identity?

Yesterday I spent time at Wightwick Manor and Gardens and saw the exhibition The Rossettis: Siblings and Spouses. It inspired me to re-read some Christina Rossetti poetry today, and I found a perfect poem for the last day of August about swallows starting their journey south for the winter.

Sunrise-toned quote graphic for Writing the Dawn workshops and coaching, with a sun-and-moon line icon and a swallow in flight silhouetted over a pink and grey sky. Text reads: 'Fly Away, Fly Away Over The Sea. Fly away, fly away over the sea, Sun-loving swallow, for summer is done; Come again, come again, come back to me, Bringing the summer and bringing the sun. Christina Georgina Rossetti.'
