pettiest thing I’m mad about w corporations embracing genAI is that they’ve historically always been obsessively controlling over ensuring brand guidelines are followed, but now as soon as they don’t need to pay an invoice to a human, its fine when their mascot has 3 arms
I really like this thread. This really is such a struggle, I'm so tired of being told I need to make a brand to be successful. Maybe I just want to draw fish and share my fish with people who like them

I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.
I don't want to shoot videos I don't want to post tutorials I don't want to show my process I don't want to pour varnish I don't want to turn my canvas I don't want to record my screen I don't want to cultivate parasocial relationships I just want to make pictures and shitpost

My first lil guys came out of the kiln today! I'm pretty happy with them -- there's a goose, fish, and bird 🪿🐟🐦 Next time, I'll definitely make sure I have a smaller brush before glazing #ceramics
Saw some videos where they put down the complimentary color first for the shading, then go over it with the main color, so I decided to experiment! ...it looks like it doesn't work quite as well with alcohol markers 😅 The videos used watercolors lol It was a fun experiment tho! #alcoholmarkers
