'Purple Rain' Earth's atmosphere revealed by a Himawari satellite study of water vapor in the infrared, an extended look at the turmoil in the water-filled skies of planet Earth. Each minute covers one day. Each shot covers one month. The 7h15m40s 4K video is not looped. youtu.be/bjvmUL_A20A

Furry cons will change your life tbh. Imagine 3-4 days of socialization where the vast majority of the content - instead of being tied to corporate franchises and pre-existing IPs - is just passionate people expressing themselves and sharing their interests. And also, SHITLOADS of free, warm hugs.

Not me sobbing in bed because this fandom has some of the most genuinely awesome people and I'm so fucking blessed to know them. I wish people could see how freeing it is to just be themselves instead of being worried it's cringe or demonizing us because some asshole told you to.

It's time for slower art. The constant churn and grind pushed by techno capitalism has reached its inevitable conclusion with AI slop. Let's make our best work and be patient with our process. Let's release art that's worth stopping for and savoring. Let's show each other what humans can do

*notices you at Eurofurence 29* Sad that it's over but I love how restoring to my soul furry conventions are, I feel lighter and more myself every time

Who are you? Who am I to you? I am the antichrist to you Fallen from the sky with grace Into your arms race Lucid lovers me and you A deal of matchless value I was always quick to admit defeat Empty statements of bones and meat

I have to gush more, sorry. Each animal you see, from the largest whale to the smallest water bear is a reminder of the incredible story of life on our planet. Every day we’re seeing the culmination of millions of years of evolution, in every pulse of air through a spiracle or flutter of a wing.

The explosion of AI imagery online has had an odd side effect for me: it's made me so much happier to see amateur art. I love seeing art from people at various stages of experience, even when things are rough and folks are just starting out. It makes me happy, now, in a way that it never used to.
